the 2009 CFDA/vogue fashion fund finalists seem to be a flock of new designers. just in the nick of time. with no returning contenders for this year's scholarship, it looks like we'll finally be getting something fresh for a change- don't get me wrong, i love me some a.wang & jason wu- but perhaps this is suggesting an optimistic new beginning in a very downridden economic climate? yay fashion!
